I've uploaded various things I've found on the internet in the "Online Adventures" link at the left-hand column of the website. I've created a Google Search Story through YouTube and uploaded it here. Google Search Story is a great way to tell a story through a frame-by-frame video. It's easy to use and the editing makes your video look very elegant and professional. The addition of music gives a nice touch also. You can try your own here: Google Search Stories. My one complaint is the lack of customization of the videos. For instance, you can't choose the angles at which the videos pan in or out and in which direction. You can't choose where the video focuses into on certain pages. You also can't choose your own music aside from the few preset songs. These are minor complaints though, as the final result still turns out fine.
I've also added a Google Earth lesson plan that can be used as an introductory lesson for people to get to know each other.
Finally, there's a Web2.0 project that I found quite useful and engaging. My thoughts are located below its link.
Hi there! You have reached David Huang's e-Room. "What is an e-Room?" you might ask. Well this is essentially an electronic version of my classroom where you can find information about me, class activities, lesson plans, and more. Feel free to browse around and check it out! This is my very first blog AND webpage so please give me feedback on what you think or how I can improve my e-Room! Thanks, and enjoy!
