I am in the intermediate stages of putting this site up. There is some content here and there, but I am continuing to add things to the website. Please be patient and revisit frequently for further updates!

Updates

I've uploaded some documents under the "Paper Trail" link on the sidebar. Here, you can find the course guide for the 2011-2012 school year, school bell schedule, graduation requirements, and a permission form for photographs.

I've also updated the "Online Adventures" page by including some useful resources that you can use from the internet to help you with math and being a math student.

Updates

Check out my "Curriculum Corner"! I've got an entire unit on surface area and volume posted. Here, you can find all the notes for each section as well as the corresponding assignments. You will also find a few additional resources to help you with understanding the concepts if my notes are not sufficient. Finally, you can find a calendar at the bottom of the page for my personal schedule.

Updates

I've uploaded various things I've found on the internet in the "Online Adventures" link at the left-hand column of the website. I've created a Google Search Story through YouTube and uploaded it here. Google Search Story is a great way to tell a story through a frame-by-frame video. It's easy to use and the editing makes your video look very elegant and professional. The addition of music gives a nice touch also. You can try your own here: Google Search Stories. My one complaint is the lack of customization of the videos. For instance, you can't choose the angles at which the videos pan in or out and in which direction. You can't choose where the video focuses into on certain pages. You also can't choose your own music aside from the few preset songs. These are minor complaints though, as the final result still turns out fine.

I've also added a Google Earth lesson plan that can be used as an introductory lesson for people to get to know each other.

Finally, there's a Web2.0 project that I found quite useful and engaging. My thoughts are located below its link.

Updates

Under Curriculum Corner, you can find a blurb about why I think social networking can work in the education setting. I think social networking can be utilized as a powerful tool in school but people have to wrap their minds around the matter that social networking is not a bad thing if used correctly.

Updates

I've completed my profile page which is titled "Who Am I?" on the left-side column. On this page you can find a Fotobabble about my views in technology, a story about myself in education, and my views on basketball. Enjoy!
